| I have the same observation about variability in composition. Never tried to contact the company, but I do see that the fat content is now up to 4 gms, including saturated fat. I assume they are tinkering with the recipe to boost sales. Too bad, they were great while they lasted. |

| I would've rated this bar a 5, but Universal is completely unresponsive in my attempts to ask them why boxes of bars have a different taste and texture. A couple of years ago, I swore by these bars and would go to the ends of the earth to say great things about them, but over the last year, there was some change. After numerous attempts to ask them if there was a formula change on a specific lot with no response I need to go to another bar that is more predictable in taste and texture. It calls into question in my mind if the differences in taste/texture also affect the nutritional quality...especially since they don't respond. |
